Gated lots with open gates does not indicate parking is allowed outside of the specified times above. These may be marked by signage, street markings or both. You may not park in any specifically reserved space (visitor, residence life, president, ROTC, etc.) at any time. Faculty/staff lots are available for use between 5 p.m. Spaulding Street and Edison Avenue that are marked for student use. Delaware Parking Garage second floor and above. West Parking Garage designated first floor spaces (follow signage) and first floor ramp (at the incline) and above. Rick Thomas Parking Garage starting on the second floor ramp (at the incline) and above. West Parking Garage second floor ramp (at the incline) and above. Students may park as designated by their residency status. This policy does not apply to local students who live off campus and commute to UT. This designation is determined by enrollment status and not the number of credit hours. First Year/Freshman Student Parking Policy.

Visitors/Guests are required to display a visitor parking pass, with the exception of sporting events, while on the campus. The Lowth Entrepreneurship Center reserved guest parking is indicated by reserved signs on the seventh floor of the Rick Thomas Parking Garage and requires a pass from the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center.

Parking decals are set up by academic year (current August – following August). Valid parking decals are to be properly displayed, and vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking areas. All students, faculty and staff who intend to have and/or bring a vehicle on campus at any time are required to register their vehicles. The University of Tampa assumes no liability, under any circumstances, for damaged, vandalized, stolen or impounded vehicles. Anyone violating the University's parking policies may have their vehicle ticketed, booted, towed or impounded by the property owners, the City of Tampa and/or the University. Parking does not change during holidays, breaks or summer sessions. It is also illegal to park along the CSX Railroad tracks that parallel Cass Street. Please note: It is illegal to park anywhere along North A Street, Brevard Avenue, UT Poe Parkway, in, around or near AMSCOT or the privately owned properties on the west side of campus. YOU MAY ONLY LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN MARKED PARKING SPACES. The absence of "No Parking" or "Fire Lane" signs, lack of curb paint or enough room for a vehicle to park does not suggest that parking is permitted. IT IS ILLEGAL TO PARK a nywhere on campus other than in a marked parking space. Please read carefully!
